Technical Project Manager
About the Role
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful implementation of SaaS-based systems for clients in the automotive and heavy-duty industries. This role involves managing end-to-end projects, performing business analysis, driving process improvements, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and supporting internal project governance using Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Focus
Manage full project lifecycle for SaaS implementations.
Conduct business analysis and define project scope.
Drive stakeholder alignment and risk mitigation.
Daily Tasks
Set up and update tasks in Wrike (or other project software).
Lead project meetings with customers and internal teams.
Test software and manage quality assurance milestones.
Provide ongoing communication between developers and clients.
Maintain accurate documentation and logs in Wrike.
Goals & Objectives
Deliver projects on-time and on-budget while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ensure positive customer onboarding experiences.
Continuously improve project management and onboarding processes.
Collaboration & Reporting
Provide weekly project status reports to leadership.
Act as the key liaison with external clients.
Coordinate between technical teams and business leads.
Suggest workflow and tool enhancements.
Additional Contributions
Mentor team members or cross-functional contributors on project methodology.
Contribute to process optimization and innovation.
Support occasional technical writing and ETL data transformation.
Your Profile
Education
Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) highly desired.
Experience
2+ years managing SaaS/software projects with Agile methodology experience.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills; ability to serve as primary client contact.
Proficiency in Wrike (preferred), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Familiarity with SQL or Microsoft Access is a plus.
Experience with time log tracking, cost reporting, and Gantt chart creation.
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Skills & Tools
Wrike, Microsoft Office Suite, SQL (preferred), Gantt chart tools.
Agile methodologies.
SaaS implementation tools.
Basic understanding of data transformation and ETL processes.
