As a Sr. Catalog Analyst at TecAlliance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of vehicle and parts data within our catalog systems. You’ll work at the intersection of data, automotive expertise, and global collaboration — supporting the delivery of standardized, high-quality data that powers the automotive aftermarket.
In this role, you will research, create, validate, and maintain catalog data while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ACES, PIES, and TecDoc. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and data suppliers to resolve data inconsistencies, improve processes, and support ongoing catalog and data initiatives.
This is an individual contributor role with a strong focus on data quality, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement, offering the opportunity to contribute to global data operations and make a direct impact on customer satisfaction and product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Research, create, maintain, and validate vehicle and parts data in catalog systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ACES, PIES, TecDoc)
Support catalog and data-related projects under leadership guidance
Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and data suppliers to obtain and validate data
Perform data quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
Data & Analysis
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies
Strengthen data analysis capabilities and improve decision-making
Maintain high standards of data accuracy and completeness
Process & Operations
Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
Track workflows and maintain documentation using project management tools
Day-to-Day Activities
Enter and maintain datasets in catalog and PIM systems
Process catalog updates and corrections
Review and validate data for accuracy and standardization
Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
Your Profile
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or related field
Strong automotive aftermarket knowledge preferred
Advanced English proficiency (required)
Experience
Experience working with automotive parts or vehicle data
Hands-on experience with catalog maintenance, data quality, or product datasets
Experience collaborating with internal teams, clients, or data suppliers
Ability to analyze datasets and generate insights
Skills & Tools
Strong knowledge of ACES, PIES, and/or TecDoc standards
Experience with catalog or PIM systems (e.g., PartCat, DMM, OnDemand/Onboard)
Advanced Excel skills (preferred)
Familiarity with database tools (e.g., Access, MySQL – desirable)
