The Information Management Digitalization Tools department acts as internal IT service provider for the TecAlliance data production teams. We are a diverse and global team with over 40 team members in Europe and Vietnam.
Our goal is to support the TecAlliance data production teams by providing IT solutions, optimizing processes and decreasing manual efforts during the essential step of capturing and standardizing (vehicle) technical data. We work in small teams and following agile principals in order to create value and continuously improve our way of working.
As a Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d) you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy and integrity of our data-driven solutions. Your input will help shape the future of our data platform by driving quality standards and testing strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Own the QA Strategy: Maintain and evolve testing processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- Ensure Data Quality: Develop and execute structured test plans focused on data integrity, validation, and regression prevention.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while ensuring fixes align with business needs.
- Define and Track Quality Metrics: Establish key performance indicators, maintain reports, and ensure transparency in testing outcomes.
- Collaborate & Guide: Work closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical QA guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer (with AWS familiarity is a plus).
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred).
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex technical solutions, particularly in data-driven systems.
- Solid understanding of QA principles, software testing methodologies, and SDLC models.
- Strong mentoring skills, providing guidance to junior QAs and promoting continuous learning.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, consistently anticipating and addressing quality risks.
- ISTQB Foundation/Advanced Level certification is a plus.
- Business fluent English language skills (preferably C1 level). Additional languages like German, Dutch or Spanish are a plus.
