 We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to build and oversee a team engaged in data research within the automotive aftermarket sector, focusing on Repair and Maintenance Information. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data analysis, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry. 

Job Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data researchers.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Conduct regular staff monitoring and performance reviews.

Data Research & Analysis:

• Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation of data related to vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Research and implement new data technologies and best practices.

Project Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage research projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Allocate resources efficiently and manage project timelines.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on project and management review requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of research processes and results.

Market Insights & Trends:

• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies in the vehicle repair and maintenance sector.
• Provide insights to support business decisions and strategy formulation.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Automotive Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, data research, or analysis, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive vehicle repair & maintenance industry and automotive aftermarket is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong ability to work with
• Excel. Knowledge of Access & SQL is an added asset.
