We're thrilled to announce an on-site work opportunity in Weikersheim, Germany, with the option to work remotely three days a week. This position offers a 2-year contract (with the possibility (not certainty) of an unlimited extension after that period) and is available for immediate start as soon as the right candidate is ready.
Are you an expert in the world of facility management, with a passion for creating and maintaining exceptional, sustainable workspaces? We're looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Facility Manager (m/f/d), you'll be the driving force behind our efforts to design and uphold inviting work environments for our colleagues. You'll be the go-to person for both internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and international employees.
Your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, including:
Elevating Our Weikersheim Office:
You'll take charge of the maintenance and development of our offices across Europe, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Office Planning: Your expertise will be pivotal in consulting and steering our office planning on a global scale, ensuring our spaces are designed for optimal functionality and aesthetics.
Safety and Compliance: You'll be responsible for ensuring our offices comply with safety regulations mandated by law, providing a secure and healthy work environment.
Supplier Coordination: You'll efficiently coordinate with various suppliers, ensuring that all our needs are met seamlessly.
Technical Wizardry: Managing technical systems like alarm systems and climate control will be part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring a smooth and comfortable work environment for everyone.
As for your profile, we're looking for someone with:
Either specialized training and/or proven experience:
- You have completed training in the field of facility management, such as a Specialist FM (IHK) or Facility Manager (GEFMA), showcasing your commitment to excellence.
- You boast a track record of successfully managing multiple properties, particularly in the construction of offices or shops, demonstrating your ability to deliver outstanding results.
Electrical Expertise: You're an electrically qualified individual in accordance with DGUV standards, showing your commitment to the safety and functionality of our technical systems.
Language Skills: You're fluent in German (C1+) and have a good command of English (B1+), enabling effective communication with a diverse range of colleagues and partners.
Willingness to travel: your “main” office will be Weikersheim (2 days a week). Occasionally (roughly 20-30% on average) you´ll be traveling to our other sites in Germany (see locations here) in Germany.
